About Me
My name is Emily May Fong. I'm originally from Portland, Oregon and started my tattoo artist journey at 19.
Oregon law requires that all aspiring tattoo artists receive schooling and obtain a license to tattoo. I attended Forbidden School of Body Art where I was required to perform 300 hours of book work, including safety and sanitation education, before I was eligible to use a tattoo machine. I graduated in October of 2015 and continued to work at Forbidden for over two years as an instructor in training.
In 2017, I moved to Chicago where my career really took off. I have worked at two studios since then, and now own my own tattoo studio in Chicago’s West Loop, Evergreen Studios.
